A natural winter paradise at an altitude of 1600 – 2970 m for skiing, snowboarding, winter hiking and tobogganing from December to April. The Mürren-Schilthorn ski area is the highest ski area in the Bernese Oberland and is suitable for families as well as singles, couples or groups.
Mürren and winter sports – simply belong together. The first ski school in Switzerland was founded here in 1930. In 1937 the first ski lift in Bernese Oberland followed. Here, where the world's largest amateur ski race „Inferno" takes place, winter sports enthusiasts are thrilled time and again by today's modern transport facilities and attractions such as the Skimovie slope and the Snowpark.
