Your eyes wander magically to the mountains that surround the 3-star superior hotel Edelweiss at an altitude of 1650 m in the picturesque mountain village Mürren. At the Mürrenfluh, where our family-run hotel is located, the landscape plunges several hundred metres into the valley and then climbs imposingly uphill with the Eiger-Mönch-Jungfrau massif. It is breathtaking to admire. In this unique location, our mountains seem within reach. Experience Switzerland in its most beautiful form with us in the car-free town of Mürren. In 2021, we expanded our hotel with a premium new building.

From December 11, 2021, the following Covid guidelines will be in effect at the hotel and restaurant.
- Every guest over the age of 16 must show a certificate at check in or when visiting the restaurant

- From 28 December, a test centre will be available in Mürren

Arrival by train
Travel comfortably with international express trains to Interlaken. From Interlaken you can reach Lauterbrunnen in 20 minutes. Mürren is 20 minutes away from Lauterbrunnen with the BLM (Lauterbrunnen-Mürren cable car) or 30 minutes via Stechelberg with the bus and Schilthornbahn lift.
Arrival by plane
The nearest airports are located in Zurich, Geneva and Basel. The Zurich and Geneva airports have a railway station with direct train connections to Interlaken. From Basel EuroAirport, take the bus to Basel SBB train station. Plan about 3 ¼ hours for the train journey from Zurich to Mürren, from the Geneva airport approx. 4 hours and from the Basel EuroAirport approx. 3 ½ hours.
